Thursday 14th January 2010

Okay, so this blog looks easier to manage. Pete came back yesterday, full of the joys of a trip home and loads of ostrich steaks. He had caught up with an old school and bush friend, Graham Wilson, so was in a particularly good mood. He fell into bed to catch up on his sleep and I went off to teach yoga downstairs in the condo. Had lovely classes, full of smiling ladies. The first class was hectic yoga and I felt so much better for the exercise, yoga is the best for lifting the spirits and making you feel more energised.

Keith SMSd me later to ask me to book his ticket to Joburg so he can finish his CPL and said he had had a bad week. Turned out he had been robbed while he was asleep at home and had lost his cell phone. Luckily the (bleep) hadn't found his laptop or wallet, so it was just a petty theft and he was unharmed -thank his guardian angel. He and his friends had also been in a car crash which had been sufficiently bad to dislodge the engine of their car. It just never ends!

Quiet day so far today except for a complaint from the squash player who competes with me for the space downstairs. He and his friends make a terrible din whenever we are trying to have a decent relaxation, they won't co-operate and keep the noise level down, so I book the courts. He is very upset, so it has worked. Pete replied to his email, so this should get interesting.

Love you all and wish you were here.
